Do you Believe in Love at First Sight?

I love these doors! You may remember that we took the glass out of old antique doors and had them reset into two converging pocket doors. The trim has not been installed around them and they are covered in Sheetrock dust but I LOVE them and therefore felt the need to post them anyhow.

P.S. I would love them more if they would post upright. I still haven't figured that out!

Mother Nature Strikes Again

Birmingham had it’s forth snow since Christmas this week. I am beginning to think we moved to Alaska. Not only do I hate strongly dislike cold weather, it is also killing our schedule. I don’t think St. Francis is a fan of the cold either.

Copper Jewelry

Copper flashing is like jewelry for a house. You think a house looks good and then you add a little “jewelry” and the exterior house really pops. The copper eyebrow window was Josh’s idea since we nixed the copper dormers to save money. We love it and I am sure once it patinas we will love it even more. Here are a few pictures.
